This class is offered in Charlotte and Chapel Hill
Guided meditations from the book “The New Meditation Handbook”
by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
This class will help you
establish a daily meditation practice, and develop your experience
of the benefits of Buddhist meditation.
Each session lasts 1 hour and will focus on one of the 21 meditations of the Stages of
the Path, Lamrim.
Each session will comprise
breathing meditation, a short introduction to the meditation, and
guidance during the meditation.
Those considering joining
the class may also consider the General classes in Asheville, Charlotte and Chapel Hill
Meditation 101 and Meditation for a Peaceful Mind classes are excellent preparations for more advanced
study of Buddhist View on the Foundation
Program of Kadampa Buddhism.
